This is a fast drying medium that will also increase the transparency of oil colours. Unlike its cousin Liquol (both are alkyd resin mediums) which becomes quite fluid when mixed with paint, Glazing Gel is thicker and more gel-like, enabling the artist to paint with light impasto and retain texture and brush marks. Of course it can be it can be used to create thin, transparent glazes as well, and also used for wet-in-wet techniques.
