A heavy impasto paste made from marble dust which dries flexible. It may be used to produce texture before or during painting. Modelling Compound dries translucent white, however colour may be added if desired. It is an economical way of building massive impasto.

A heavy-bodied, “pigment-less paint” made with marble dust. Off white in colour, it can be tinted with paint, but resulting colours dry darker. Generally used as an impasto/texturing material that is painted over when dry. Can be added to acrylic paintings at any stage. Has the same flexibility as paint and does not need medium added for application to canvas. Can also be used for under texture in oil paintings, but must be applied before the oil paint.
