Albrecht Durer watercolour Pencils are high-quality artists coloured pencils for drawing and colouring. They are extraordinarily versatile and colourful, but their special advantage lies in their ability to produce watercolour effects.

The works may be completed in dry form and then sprayed lightly with a mist bottle of distilled water to produce a true watercolour effect. Alternatively the tip of the pencil may be dipped in water to produce fine lines of pigment or taken off the tip of the pencil with a wet brush. These applications can be a distinct advantage when producing effects such as rigging for boats, wires in a landscape, or fine foliage.

The 120 colours can be blended to form an unlimited number of new hues, either in sharp contrast to each other or to merge inperceptibly.
